Q: " Sometimes, no matter what I do, I can't get paint
to stick to plastic bumpers. What am I doing
wrong?"
A: Plastic refinishing has come a
long way recently. With the addition of 2320S plastic cleaner and
2330S adhesion promoter to the DuPont product line, paint failures
due to poor adhesion are disappearing fast. Try them.
Q: " I
have difficulty with some colors covering my primer. How can I fix
this?"......
A: There are two things to make
hiding of transparent colors easier.
1.Use Valueshade- these undercoats
are numbered from 1to 7 and are designed for quicker basecoat
coverage. 2. Reduce the basecoat to the proper viscosity- the 1-1
reduction found on the label is only a guideline. Sometimes less
basemaker is needed.
