New Plastic Bumper Procedures!!!!!!!!!!

Painting Raw Plastic

1. Clean with soap & hot water.

2. Clean with 2320S and a white scuff pad until clean.

3. Apply adhesion promoter, seal, paint.

Pre-Primed Plastic Parts

Test- Soak bumper with 7175S. If primer lifts, it must be removed. Then follow above procedure for raw plastic.

If primer does not lift after 7175S test, sand with 400-500 paper. Do not sand through. Clean with 3901S. Seal and paint.

These procedures have become necessary because of the change in plastics being used (especially on Nissan & Toyota) and the poor quality of some OEM primers.
